It is a reboot of The Eric Andre Show that aired on Cartoon Network’s late night programming block, Adult Swim.
The show parodies low-budget public-access talk shows and features surrealist or mockumentary-style humor. The show’s format is a parody of traditional talk shows and infomercials. The first half of each episode is a parody of a public-access talk show, with Andre as the host and co-host Hannibal Buress. The second half of each episode is a parody of a low-budget infomercial, with Andre as the host and Buress as the co-host.
The show has been described as «a cross between Jackass and The Twilight Zone».
The show has been renewed for a fifth season, which is set to premiere in 2018.
